RHL develops a new range of high efficiency textile squeezing rolls

July 19, 2008 (UK)
MaxExtractor and MaxResistor, from Richard Hough Ltd, set new performance standards in the tough environment of modern textile wet process plants.

The increasing use of harsh or aggressive chemicals and resins in textile wet processing presents new challenges for manufacturers and their equipment suppliers and has now led to the development of a revolutionary new range of high efficiency covers for squeezing rollers.

The MaxExtractor and MaxResistor roll covers, from Richard Hough Ltd (RHL), of Bolton, UK, are made from high-tech new compounds, specially developed to stand up to attack in the demanding environments of modern finishing plants. They also give optimum squeezing performance and increased roller life, leading to enhanced productivity.

The MaxExtractor range, for high-expression final squeezing or padding, is 30% more efficient than conventional rubber rolls.
