T-shirt Magic invests in high technology equipment

The Australian direct to garment printing market is predicted to continue its exceptional growth in 2012 according to comments from Greg Stone, Director GJS Machinery.

“Last year we predicted that 2011 would be a tipping-point in direct to garment technology in Australia and we are very pleased to see that through our close relationship with Brother Australia that this prediction has become a reality with tremendous interest in these products throughout the year and more and more people realising the true potential that exists in this now proven technology,” Stone said.

“We even worked over the Christmas holiday break installing garment printers for customers due to the exception demand,” he added.

The latest GJS Machinery customer to take advantage of the benefits of direct to garment printing is Alexandria-based printing firm T-shirt Magic who installed a Brother GT-782 garment printer over the Christmas break.

“At T-shirt Magic we invest in high technology equipment to ensure that we stay a leader in garment manufacture” said Andrew Sprason, Managing Director, T-shirt Magic Australia. “Our choice of a Brother GT-782 white ink garment printer future-proofs our business and ensures that we are equipped to handle customised short runs and one-off jobs that would otherwise be impossible with other printing methods.”
