Accuquilt Launches New Line of Whimsical Quilting Die Designs

AccuQuilt, the leader in fabric cutting solutions for quilting and fabric crafts, announced a new line of whimsical quilting die designs for the company’s GO! and GO! Baby Fabric Cutters. The highly creative designs on the dies were created by the industry’s most influential and inspired designers.

"There is something special about these designs. They were created by professionals who have been in the quilting design business for years and are known for their unique touch," said AccuQuilt Global Sales Manager, Linda Pumphrey. "Now it’s possible for quilters at all skill levels to use their GO! and GO! Baby fabric cutters to work on the same pieces these famous quilters feel a special connection to. It’s like a gift from them to us!" Pumphrey said the designers were given the freedom to submit designs they’ve always wanted to create in a die, with final approval being provided by AccuQuilt market experts.

The new designs and designers include the following:

• GO! Eagle by Eleanor Burns
• GO! Folk Art Fowl by Bill Kerr
• GO! Rose of Sharon #2 by Sharon Pederson
• GO! Fantasy Flowers by Robbi Joy Eklow
• GO! Kay’s Basket by Laura Wasilowski
• GO! Home and GO! Ring of Oak by Stacy Michell
• GO! Grapes of Wrath and GO! Pomegranate by Alex Anderson
• GO! Bohemia #1 and GO! Bohemia #2 by Ricky Tims

The designers chosen to create the new designs list versatility, creativity and usability as the main reasons they like working with GO! dies and fabric cutters.

Robbi Joy Eklow: "It's so much fun to be able to literally crank out a bunch of petal shapes and then play with them to make fused quilt designs. The shapes left behind are interesting too. I've been sorting them into a shoebox and I have a ton of them. I could never cut those quilt spirals with enough detail with a scissors. I like that so many of the AccuQuilt appliqué dies will work with "my style" to create fused quilts."
