KARL MAYER MALIMO to exhibit at Asia Wind Power

KARL MAYER MALIMO Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH has made quite a name for itself as a first-class supplier to the wind power industry worldwide. As such, this company, which is a subsidiary of the traditional German manufacturer, KARL MAYER, will be exhibiting at the Asia Wind Power 2009 exhibition from 12 to 13 November in Shanghai.

KARL MAYER MALIMO builds extremely successful machines for producing a wide range of textile structures, develops textiles with a broad spectrum of characteristics, and is opening up new areas of application for these textiles. The products manufactured on the multiaxial machine are no longer new, but they are highly sophisticated technically and have become firmly established on the market. They can be produced from high-performance fibres, such as carbon, glass and aramid, and there is an extremely high demand for multiaxial constructions bonded by thermosetting or thermoplastic agents in the light engineering sector.

Manufacturers of rotor blades in particular have been profiting from using these reinforcing textiles, which are extremely reliable and economical to produce. In order to meet the growing demand, KARL MAYER has recently optimised its machine technology by developing the Malitronic MULTIAXIAL machine. The main emphasis in developing this new, high-tech machine was to further increase efficiency and improve the accuracy of all the operating sequences, the user friendliness and the flexibility.
