Dilo to focus on new Hyperlacing technology at ITMA+CITME

June 26, 2008 (Germany)
At the forthcoming joint exhibition of ITMA Asia and CITME in Shanghai the DiloGroup will exhibit mechanical components and textile samples from the Dilo Textile Research Centres to provide information about complete line installations comprising machines for bale opening and blending from DiloTemafa, carding or aerodynamic web forming from DiloSpinnbau, crosslapping and needling from DiloMachines.

This first combined exhibition, "ITMA ASIA + CITME 2008" will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai from 27 to 31 July 2008.

In addition to needling other bonding technologies such as water entangling, thermo and chemical bonding are available from DiloSystems in close co-operation with well-known leading partners. Therefore, the full range of web forming and consolidation technologies is offered for complete line installations worldwide.

At our booth No. B05 in hall No. W4 we will provide general information about all kind of nonwovens. Focus will be laid on the new Hyperlacing technology first presented at the ITMA 07 show in Munich and on geotextiles which enjoy a continuing demand worldwide.

Hyperlacing is realized by the newly developed Cyclopunch units with approx. 20.000 needles/m/board. The needle barb is adapted to the fibre fineness in order to transport only one single fibre per stroke. A new kinematics moves the needle on a circular path resulting in an increase of throughput speed to more than 100 m/min. The Hyperlacing process allows production of light-weight felts made from fine fibres at an area weight as low as approx. 30 g/m² with high throughput speeds. These products are used in the fields of medicine, hygiene, synthetic leather, interlinings and filter media.
