Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd has announced the following Audited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2008:

The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit from Ordinary activity after tax of Rs 600.029 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 686.221 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

Total Income has increased from Rs 5822.238 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 6333.223 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit from Ordinary activity after tax of Rs 2423.013 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 2061.978 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

Total Income has increased from Rs 19417.213 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 22927.115 million for the year ended March 31, 2008.
