At the trade fair Tüyap, Terrot presented itself on the Turkish market exceptionally strong together with its Turkish partner company.
TERROT participated to TÜYAP because of the importance of the Turkish market for textile machine suppliers and because of the customers from neighbour countries as IRAN, RUSSIA, UCRAINA, SYRIA and others.
TERROT has shown 4 Circular Knitting Machines which met all the special interest of the visitors. Most of them have been mill managers and owners and we discussed in very detail about investments for 2008 and later.
“S296-1 Open Width” - Single-Jersey High Production with a new compact Open Width Frame
The backbone of the Turkish knitting industry is still the Single Knit Open Width market for which TERROT designed a very simple to handle new mc which has been supplied from the fair to a well known knitting mill with a long tradition in this business. As early as 1999 in Paris TERROT was first to introduce a Single Jersey Circular Knitting machine where the robe fabric was cut and wound-up in open condition directly in the machine.
