Brother International launches new series of embroidery machines

Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd intends to sell 100 units of each of its two new series of embroidery machines, PR-650 and PR-1000, and the embroidery software, PE-Design Next, each year.

Yoshiaki Otsuka, Director of the company, while speaking to the press at the launch of the machines, said that they are very much sure that the Malaysian market would positively welcome the two new series of machines.

Both the series of machines, he said, are so designed that it can arrange text, alter the size of designs, rotate patterns in one-degree increments and can also merge designs and insert letters. Over and above this, the size of these new machines have also been compressed which makes it a perfect choice for the home-based entrepreneurs who don’t have much space for production work, he stated.

The price range of these machines starts from RM 36,999 onwards and can be brought from the company’s authorized dealers. The machines have one year warranty.

The official also revealed that, the firm aims to boost its presence in the Malaysian market by 2011.

The launch of these new machines is reflective of the firm’s intention of further paving into the Malaysian textile and apparel industry, he said.
