Zimmer Machinery Corp becomes Zimmer America Corporation

After doing business for 25 years in our Spartanburg location as Zimmer Machinery Corporation, ZIMMER MACHINERY CORPORATION becomes ZIMMER AMERICA CORPORATION, reflecting the fact that we have expanded our business far beyond the core business of supplying, installing and servicing textile machinery.

Although textile machinery will remain an important part of our activities, as it has been since 1984, the new business groups include: RECYCLING TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS, from textile fibers to PET bottle-to-bottle recycling SOLAR POWER Systems, from residential domestic hot water to commercial and zndustrial solar thermal installations to photovoltaic solar electricity for homes and businesses.

These are exciting times we are living in and sustainability is on everybody's mind these days. We responded to that and looked for the best and experienced partners in all of these areas in order to make these technologies available to our growing customer base.
