Nisshinbo inks JV to set up denim unit in Indonesia

Nisshinbo Textile Inc is a world-class vertically integrated textile manufacturer of various types of textiles like denims, textile fabrics and apparels. In order to strengthen its global competitiveness, it has transferred production of general-purpose textile products to China and Indonesia. Now, Nisshinbo Textile Inc. is holding talks with an Indonesian company to set up a joint venture for manufacturing denim in Indonesia, the production of which is slated to begin in May 2011.
